The Dave Matthews Band has selected an August 29, 2000 performance from New York’s Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center has the next volume in the Live Trax series. The performance took place near the end of the group’s summer tour, the first outing to feature keyboardist Butch Taylor as a permanent member of the band (though had had been gusting with the group since 1998). Highlights include the then new “Digging A Ditch,” a rare version of “Minarets” and a “Too Much” fake out that segued into “Anyone Seen the Bridge” and “Ants Marching.” Dave Matthews Band will headline Rothbury this July.

Chillicothe, IL’s Summer Camp festival has confirmed a handful of new acts, including O.A.R., The Roots, Lotus, U-Melt, Future Rock, Macpodz, Uglysuit and Euforquestra. As previously reported, Summer Camp will return to Three Sisters Park from May 23-25, featuring performances by moe., Umphrey’s McGee, the Flaming Lips, George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic, STS9, Tea Leaf Green and many more. As in year’s past, the gates for the Summer Camp Music Festival will open a day early for a separately ticketed pre-party.
