Phil Lesh Returns to The Fillmore

Phil Lesh & Friends will perform at Denver, CO’s The Fillmore Auditorium on May 8 and 9. While Lesh has confirmed a striking number of 2008 festival appearances, including marquee spots at Langerado, Bonnaroo, Rothbury, All Good and 10,000 Lakes, these gigs are the bassist’s only currently confirmed club dates. GDTS Too Mailorder Tickets will be accepting postmarks from March 4-14, while PhilLesh Online Ticketing will be available beginning at noon tomorrow. Meanwhile, Lesh will headline Langerado this Sunday.

Bonnaroo has confirmed a handful of new acts, including Cat Power, Zappa Plays Zappa, The Disco Biscuits, MSTRKRFT and Chromeo. Cat Power performed at Bonnaroo in 2006, while the Disco Biscuits played the festival in both 2002 and 2006. This year the group is expected to offer one of the festival’s marquee late night sets. Bonnaroo has also confirmed that both Phil Lesh & Friends and My Morning Jacket will play special late night shows on the festival’s outdoor Which Stage. The festival’s second largest performance space has only hosted a handful of late night shows over the years, including Primus, Trey Anastasio, String Cheese Incident and The Flaming Lips.
